Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ROO Secure (including the application or service identified as roosecure.com) provided by ROO Secure IT Solutions (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using ROO Secure, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using ROO Secure on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Description of Service

ROO Secure provides cybersecurity-related services and information, which may include penetration testing, DevSecOps guidance, security research, and related tools or content. Specific deliverables and scope are defined in separate statements of work or engagement agreements.

3. Authorised Use Only

All security testing, scanning, or assessment activities must be explicitly authorised in writing by the owner of the target systems. You agree not to use any information, tools, or guidance obtained through ROO Secure for unauthorised or illegal purposes.

4. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials issued to you and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, reports, methodologies, and software related to ROO Secure remain the property of ROO Secure IT Solutions or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission, except as expressly allowed under a paid engagement.

6. Client Materials and Confidentiality

Materials you provide to us for an engagement remain your property. We treat non-public information as confidential and will not disclose it except as required to perform the services, as required by law, or with your consent.

7. Disclaimers

ROO Secure and all related content are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of vulnerabilities. Security assessments reduce risk but cannot eliminate it.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ROO Secure IT Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of ROO Secure. Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ROO Secure IT Solutions harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your unauthorised use of ROO Secure, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to ROO Secure at any time for violation of these Terms or for operational or security reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ROO Secure IT Solutions is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise agreed in a separate engagement contract.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the “Effective” date and version number. Continued use of ROO Secure after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
